Excellent site on the West Side of Turneffe Atoll. Crickozeen Cut is used extensively by liveaboards, Turneffe operators, and Belize City operators. It consists of a shallow sandy slope with scattered coral leading to a deep wall that falls unto a lazy sandy slope at 124'. This leads to a sheer wall at 150'. Several pints along this wall attract schools of snapper, jack, grouper, and baitfish. Turtles, rays, and morays are also common here. The scattered coral consists mostly of brain and star coral with lots of barrel and tube sponges and gorgoninans.
