Small Wreck on the Barrier Reef. This dive site is on the Barrier Reef in front of Water Caye. Shallow canyons lead to the wall at 30' that drop into an almost enclosed sand flat at 78'. A small boat with 2 inboard engines, cabin, and head lies upright on the sand surrounded mostly by algae. A semicircular wall and a deep coral ridge enclose the wreck in the sand flat. The dive starts with a descent to the boat for sightseeing, going to the deep ridge east of the bow then ascending while going along the inside of the semicircular wall and on to the top of the reef. The wall is covered in star coral, gorgonians, and sponges. The deep ridge is mostly plate, brain, and star coral with a few tube sponges and gorgonians. Marine life is plentiful and a good spot for the rare big-eye toadfish.
